Best of February

Hi again, you all! I’m back with a new set of favorites, this time from the month of February. This short month has brought such incredible things along and I just had to share the best ones!

Sanremo 2020

Let’s start with Sanremo. While my Italian readers will be familiar with Sanremo, everyone else is probably going “and what the hell is that?!” To keep it short, Sanremo is an annual singing competition that happens in Italy every year, during the first week of February. My family and I always watch it even though we live in the States, and this edition of Sanremo was so much fun! Nothing else to report, just love this time of the year!

Skiing in Stowe, Vermont

If you’ve been following my travels on my Instagram, you’ll know that I spent a long weekend in Stowe, Vermont. Stowe is one of my favorite places for skiing, I love the slopes and the cute little town, with boutiques and restaurants that I never cease to enjoy. I always recommend visiting this town – my family actually goes there every year! – and I actually even wrote a post about it not too long ago. You can check it out here. This year, we even gave cross-country skiing a try (with questionable results), so there’s really so much to do in Stowe, you won’t be disappointed.

Attending the Chicago Auto Show

Thanks to the ChiCity Girls, I was able to secure a media pass to attend the 2020 Chicago Auto Show.  This was awesome for a few reasons: first, someone trusted me with a media pass, which still baffles me! Second, I was able to check out my favorite car, the Dodge RAM 3500 pick up truck: one day, when I actually know how to drive, I would love to own one of those! Other than that, there were awesome cars – hello, Lamborghini! – as well as cool installations from Chicago sports teams.

Reading “And Then There Were None”

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn’t put down? That’s how I felt about “And Then There Were None“, one of the most famous mystery books written by the queen of murder herself, Agatha Christie. David and I decided to have our own book club (adorable, I know) and read it simultaneously, then shared our theories once we finished each chapter. We literally couldn’t wait to read the ending! I highly recommend this classic that I had wanted to read for a while.

First Time Teaching Aerial Stretching

It’s Leap Day today, so I wanted to do something cool and unique to celebrate this day. Therefore, I did something terrifying and exhilarating at the same time: I taught my first Aerial Stretching class! It’s super weird being on the teaching side, but I did enjoy it and I can’t wait to teach some more! Gymnastics, circus and lately aerial fitness have been such a huge part of my life, especially growing up, and I would love to be able to give back to that world by becoming a professional teacher!

That’s all for the month of February, see you in March y’all! I already have big plans for the next month, and tons of content coming up, so get excited!
